Graphic Designer
My client wanted to start an artisanal Italian pizzaria and restaurant. In order to find out everything about her vision for the restaurant, I created a design brief asking everything from demographic to inspiration to background of company and idea.
I discovered that her vision was based on the Italian countryside, focusing on home cooking and authenticity. With this in mind, all elements of the design were hand-drawn to keep the theme. The logo features a basil leaf representing a staple ingredient in Italian cooking. I made sure to keep the hand-made feel even in the minute details like the ripped edges of the paper.
